RHEDV25 Direct Vent Gas Insert - 20,000 Btu's - Remote Ready with Blower

The most compact model Gas Insert, the RHE25 is designed to fit most pre-fabricated zero clearance wood or gas fireplaces. It can also convert your existing masonry wood-burning fireplace to the convenience and cleanliness of gas.

The RHEDV25 applies direct vent technology for a unique compact gas insert. Ideal for homes with negative pressure problems. Vermont Castings offers the following standard features and trim options on Model RHEDV25:

Our new direct vent has an elbow that can be easily turned from a top vent to a rear vent - with no separate installation necessary. Our direct venting pipe is Dura vent's 5"/8" standard venting system. Simply remove the screws and the cover plate from the top. The elbow can then be manually turned so that it easily becomes a rear vent unit. Replace the cover plate and the screws and you have a versatile firebox with no hassle - and no spare parts to misplace. It's like having two fireboxes in one tidy package.
